Among caves situated in flat territory
of Bashkprtostan the given cave is one of the largest ones. The
length of its passages is 320 meter. The entrance is situated at
the height of 40 meters from the River Lakle. Horizontal cross section
of the hall is up to 50 meters. When it is +30 degrees Centigrade
out side, in the cave the temperature will hardly be higher than
0 degrees. Even at the very entrance to the cave the ice doesn't
melt usually. The cave is famous for its unique calcite formations
in the form of a bowl or a ball with ingenious ornament. The outer
slopes of the cave are covered with wild cherry. |
