The given range is a well-preserved plot of mountain steppe. A great number of 300-year-old larches grow on the flat top of the range. Animals typical for this area have been preserved as well. Here dwell such animals as bears, lynxes, elks, squirrels, marmots and wood-grouses. On the whole six forest types has been singled out on the relatively small area of the range.
