The mountain consists of brown conglomerate
and resembles an overturned boat. In the past people thought this
mountain and deep forest on it to be a sacred place, where gods
and souls of glorious heroes lived. Bashkir people carried out sacrifices
on this mountain till they accepted Islam. |
