The Mosque in Zigityak Village
The given mosque is a cult building constructed at the beginning of the twentieth century. The mosque was preserved from the moment of being constructed thanks to the efforts taken by a citizen of the village, the St. George Cross holder, Minikey Ismagilov. After the October Revolution, when people started to destroy mosques, it was M. Ismagilov, who went to Moscow to get a permission to save the mosque without taking all possible consequences into account. Various Muslim rites are held in the mosque up to the present moment.
