Voskresenskaya Art Gallery (The Nesterov Museum`s Branch)
A gift presented by former students of Moscow Secondary School at the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute that was evacuated to Voskresensk Settlement in the years 1941-1943, formed the basis of the collection. The gift includes 126 works of art: paintings, graphics, sculpture. Later the above students presented 100 more works of art, half of which was created during the Great Patriotic War. Apart from paintings dated various periods of time visitors have an opportunity to see articles of decorative and applied art as well as with those, possessing memorial meaning, connected with the settlement's history and its citizens' life. The gallery is situated in the building constructed in the middle of the XIX century.
