The museum is dedicated to the history of national and state creation of the republic. The museum's collection is relatively young and grows richer. The display starts with the story about the formation of the statehood among Bashkir tribes in the IX-XVI centuries. Further halls tell visitors about the republic's development from the beginning of the XX century till the present moment. In the process of excursions they demonstrate videos about the sovereignty of Bashkortostan.
