The main display tells us about life and work of the people's
poet Mazhit Gafury. It should be noted that not only manuscript
and documents belonging to the poet but also setting and interior
details of a typical house built at the begging of the twentieth
century have been preserved. The given museum is one of the first
Russian museums set up after the October Revolution. It is located
in an ancient building erected in the nineteenth century.
